Usage rights

Every video comes with its rights written down.

UGC videos are made for your channels and ads. Each deal says exactly where you can use them and for how long — and creators are paid again when you renew.

Organic use

Approved videos can be posted on the brand's own channels — social pages, website, email and marketplace listings — with no time limit.

Paid ads

If the deal includes ad rights, the brand can run the videos as paid ads on platforms like Meta, YouTube and Google for the agreed number of months (for example 3), counted from the day each video is approved.

Renewals

Each video shows when its ad rights end, and the brand gets a reminder two weeks before. A renewal is one tap: the brand pays the creator's ads rate again and the end date moves forward.

The licence

Every deal has a printable usage licence listing the videos, the rights and the end dates. It updates automatically after a renewal.

What's not allowed

  • Running videos as ads after the ad rights have ended.
  • Using a video to suggest the creator endorses a different product.

Videos may be cut, captioned and resized. Creators may show the videos in their own portfolio.
